Anchorage Beach Resort ★★★

Loved the location, breakfast buffet, oceanview room, pool, spa bath. Island tour from Anchorage was just amazing as. Overall loved the friendly staff and the location being away from noise.

Didnt like the sink taps in the bathroom they were shakey. Spa tub was a little bit dirty. Screen doors mash was broken that led us to have more mosquito bites.

The room i had booked wasn't available but the staff was super nice to quickly arrange an alternative.

I had booked for a room with 2 separate beds but got one, although the staffs did manage to place a single bed extra... so nothing there to dislike

The Entertainment

Very spacious rooms. Excellent beds. Amazing view. Great pool and great food. The staff taking care of the rooms and at the pool were really friendly. I appreciate their help.

The staff at the reception were not very helpful. We were not even told that breakfast was included with the rooms. The phone in one of the rooms wasn't even working. The most disappointing part was that my request for rooms to be close together was not met, although I had made a booking almost three weeks ago. Some male teenagers who were awake and making loud noises the entire night were occupying the room in between.

The breakfast was not worth we paid.

Air-conditioning was not working in the room. Telephone was not working.

The room was ok - very big with a balcony. We had 2 beds, both doubles - one was very hard, the other comfortable- something for every taste! The main area with the pool, restaurant etc was lovely. The food was good, great cocktails and wonderful staff. The Indian food was delicious!

The room would have benefited from a deep clean, and some maintenance on fly screens and in the bathroom.

Loved the location, being right by the beach and only 15mins from Nadi Airport.

Every night a train came through the property at about 4am honking its horn and literally shaking our villa. Was terrifying on the first night when we didn’t know what it was.

Pool and staff

Our 3 night stay was very enjoyable. Staff were exceptional and friendly and the amenities were great. On the night we arrived, our room floor wasn’t clean. It was dirty and made our feet dirty but the staff did service and clean the rooms everyday we were there so that was nice. Aircon is so good and really needed after a day out in the hot sun. We booked the mountain view room and the view was beautiful and free parking provided not far from our room. However, the parking space is not big and during our stay, there were so many other cars so it can be difficult to find a park at times. The pool was quite far to walk as we were on the hill top and had to walk all the way down to the pool, but the pool is so nice and big so worth the walk. The restaurant and bar are overpriced in all honesty, most of the time we bought drinks from a store and just had drinks in our room to save money. The location is a little remote and distant from local stores and Nadi town centre, however it wasn’t too much of a problem for us as we had rented a car. I would recommend renting a car if you stay here so that you’re able to get around and go places. Overall it was a pleasant experience and despite the distance and minor things, it was an enjoyable stay.

Mountain view rooms were not that good so we changed to ocean view rooms and it was worth it

Friendly staff, clean grounds , clean pool , delicious meals , free transport to Nadi or Latouka each day

No wifi in our room. Only at the restaurant Bus to Nandi was always only in the afternoon , alternate do some days you can take bus to Nadi in the morning and Latouka in the afternoon.

Love the beach and view. Food was delicious and affordable. Staffs were very friendly.

Accidentally I was charged twice so the accounts have to see if travelers are paying cash or card. I got returned but I was charged bank fees.

The feel was good

There was a lot of rubbish on the beach

Proximity to airport and the yacht club. Rooms big. Sugar cane train passing through in the night was an unexpected treat The pool.

The pool, hammocks and daybeds were good. The staff were friendly and kind, especially TT our maid.

Fantastic view from our balcony! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Decent location. 15 minutes drive from Lautoka and 20 from Nadi. 45 minutes from Denarau Marina.

We had a two bedroom apartment and it was very old and worn and had minimal furniture - not even a lamp! The rooms were large but bare. The kitchen provided very minimal to use and the only knife available was very blunt and hard to cut with. The facilities were all VERY old and in desperate need of renovation. The coat of paint over the bathroom tiles did nothing to hide how old it all was. All the linens and towels were very old and worn. The pillows in one room were very hard, the pillows in the other were so soft and flat they were almost pointless. We were only given a bath towel each and a bath mat. No hand towel or face washer. No shampoo or conditioner etc. Only a couple of small bars of soap. The fly wire on the windows was loose allowing bugs and geckos to get in if left open for air flow. The washing machine and dryer smelt bad so we decided not to use them. The apartment was the furthest away from the bar and restaurant and we had to walk down a VERY steep hill to get there (and then back up again after). The lock on the door was just a handle with a key, it didn’t feel very secure compared to the newer key card systems at hotels these days. The air conditioner in the main bedroom no longer blew cool air, only functioned as a fan. The actual fan in the second bedroom was very loud and squeaky and felt like it was going to fall from the roof.
